Indication

Treatment of constipation. Regulation of colonic physiology. Treatment and prevention of hepatic encephalopathy.

Ingredients

• Lactulose 667 mg/ml oral solution

Direction

Adults and adolescents (starting dose): 15-45ml daily. Maintenance dose: 10-25ml daily. Children: see leaflet. Preferably taken in the morning with meals.

Side effects

• Flatulence
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea
