Side effects

Skin irritation
burning
itching
or stinging at the application site.
Skin thinning (atrophy)
stretch marks (striae)
or hypopigmentation with prolonged use of the corticosteroid component.
Contact dermatitis or allergic skin reactions.
Adrenal suppression with extensive or prolonged application
especially under occlusion.
Risk of secondary fungal or bacterial superinfection if overused.
Nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity are theoretical risks with the aminoglycoside (gentamicin) if applied over large areas or broken skin.
