Alcon Tears Naturale II Dextran 70 0.1% / Hypromellose 0.3% / 15 mL

Indication

For the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye, and for use as a protectant against further irritation. For the temporary relief of discomfort due to minor irritations of the eye or to exposure to wind or sun.

Ingredients

• Dextran 70 0.1%
• Hypromellose (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose) 0.3%
• Polyquaternium
• 1 (POLYQUAD) 0.001% (preservative)

Direction

Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed. Read enclosed insert.

Side effects

• Temporary blurred vision upon instillation
• Eye irritation or discomfort (uncommon)
• Allergic reactions (rare)

Precautions

• If you experience eye pain
• changes in vision
• continued redness or irritation of the eye
• or if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours
• discontinue use and consult a doctor.
• If solution changes color or becomes cloudy
• do not use.
• Keep container tightly closed. Replace cap after using.
• Keep this and all drugs out of reach of children.
• In case of accidental ingestion
• seek professional assistance.
• Do not use if cap band is damaged or missing.
• Do not touch dropper tip to any surface to avoid contamination.
