Amlocor-5 Amlodipine 5mg 5mg

Indication

Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina pectoris. Used as a calcium channel blocker to reduce blood pressure and prevent chest pain.

Ingredients

• Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5mg

Direction

Take as directed by the physician. Usually one tablet once daily. May be taken with or without food.

Side effects

• Peripheral edema (swelling of ankles/feet)
• Headache
• Flushing
• Dizziness
• Palpitations

Precautions

• Do not exceed the indicated dose.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Read the instructions carefully before using.
• Use with caution in patients with severe aortic stenosis.
• Consult doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
