Indication
Treatment of androgen-dependent conditions in women: severe acne, seborrhea, and mild hirsutism. Also used as an oral contraceptive.
Ingredients
- Cyproterone acetate 2 mg
- Ethinyl estradiol 0.035 mg
Direction
Take 1 tablet daily for 21 consecutive days starting on day 1 of menstrual cycle, followed by 7 tablet-free days. Take at the same time each day.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Breast tenderness
- Weight change
- Mood changes
- Spotting or breakthrough bleeding
Precautions
- Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Increased risk of thromboembolism
- Contraindicated in women with history of cardiovascular disease
- Regular medical check
- ups recommended during use
- Keep out of reach of children
