Indication

Fluzoral (Fluconazole 200 mg) is an antifungal agent used to treat a wide range of fungal infections including vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal and esophageal candidiasis, cryptococcal meningitis, and systemic candidiasis.

Ingredients

• Fluconazole 200 mg

Direction

Take as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Swallow the capsule whole with water. The usual adult dose for vaginal candidiasis is a single 150 mg dose; for other infections the dose and duration depend on the type and severity of the infection. Take at the same time each day.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Headache
• Abdominal pain
• Diarrhea
• Skin rash
• Elevated liver enzymes (rare)

Precautions

• Do not use if you are allergic to fluconazole or other azole antifungals
• Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disease
• Use with caution in patients taking medications metabolized by CYP2C9 or CYP3A4 enzymes
• May interact with warfarin

• Keep out of reach of children

• stop if allergy or irritation occurs
