Indication
Family planning pills. Oral contraceptive. Prevention of pregnancy when taken correctly. Contains 21 active tablets with Desogestrel 0.150 mg and Ethinylestradiol 0.030 mg, and 7 placebo tablets containing lactose.
Ingredients
- Desogestrel 0.150 mg
- Ethinylestradiol 0.030 mg
Direction
Take one tablet daily at the same time each day for 28 consecutive days. Follow the arrow direction on the blister pack. After finishing the pack, start a new pack the next day without any tablet-free interval.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Headache
- Breast tenderness
- Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
- Mood changes
- Decreased libido
- Rare: thromboembolism
Precautions
- Prescription only medicine
- Contraindicated in women with history of thromboembolism
