Meuri Oral Contraceptive Pill Desogestrel 150 mcg / Ethinylestradiol 30 mcg

Indication

Oral contraceptive pill. Prevention of pregnancy. Each combipack of 28 tablets contains 21 tablets of Desogestrel and Ethinylestradiol Tablets, and 7 inert tablets.

Ingredients

• Desogestrel Ph.Eur. 150 mcg
• Ethinylestradiol Ph.Eur. 30 mcg

Direction

Take one tablet daily as directed. Follow the sequence on the pack. Start with the active tablets (21) and then the inert tablets (7). Take at the same time each day.

Side effects

• Nausea
• Headache
• Breast tenderness
• Breakthrough bleeding or spotting
• Mood changes
• Rare: thromboembolism

Precautions

• Prescription only medicine
• Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections
• Contraindicated in women with history of thromboembolism or liver disease
• Store in dry place below 30°C
• Keep out of reach of children
