Ascoril Expectorant Syrup 100 ml

Indication

Bronchodilator and mucolytic expectorant syrup. Indicated for symptomatic relief of productive cough associated with bronchospasm in conditions such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

Ingredients

• Salbutamol Sulphate BP equivalent to Salbutamol 2 mg per 10 ml
• Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP 4 mg per 10 ml
• Guaifenesin USP 100 mg per 10 ml
• Menthol BP 1 mg per 10 ml

Direction

As directed by the physician. Shake well before use. Store below 25°C, protect from light.

Side effects

• Tremor or palpitations (from salbutamol)
• Nausea or stomach upset
• Headache or dizziness
• Hypokalaemia with high doses
