Indication
Bronchodilator and mucolytic expectorant syrup. Indicated for symptomatic relief of productive cough associated with bronchospasm in conditions such as bronchitis, bronchial asthma, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Ingredients
- Salbutamol Sulphate BP equivalent to Salbutamol 2 mg per 10 ml
- Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP 4 mg per 10 ml
- Guaifenesin USP 100 mg per 10 ml
- Menthol BP 1 mg per 10 ml
Direction
As directed by the physician. Shake well before use. Store below 25Β°C, protect from light.
Side effects
- Tremor or palpitations (from salbutamol)
- Nausea or stomach upset
- Headache or dizziness
- Hypokalaemia with high doses
