Indication

- Allergic conditions (allergic rhinitis, urticaria, itching) - Relief of allergic skin reactions - Nausea and vomiting - Short-term sedation where appropriate

Ingredients

• Promethazine hydrochloride 5 mg/5 ml

Direction

Take by mouth as directed by a physician, dose adjusted by age and weight. Do not give to children under 2 years of age.

• Drowsiness and sedation
• Dry mouth
• Dizziness
• Blurred vision
• Constipation

Precautions

• Contraindicated in children under 2 years (risk of fatal respiratory depression)
• Causes drowsiness
• avoid driving or operating machinery
• Avoid alcohol and other CNS depressants
• Use with caution in asthma
• glaucoma or urinary retention
