Indication

- Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and erosive esophagitis - Treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers - Prevention of rebleeding after endoscopic treatment of bleeding ulcers - Used when oral therapy is not appropriate

Ingredients

• Esomeprazole 40 mg per vial (IV)

Direction

Usually 20-40 mg once daily by slow intravenous injection (at least 3 minutes) or infusion. Administered by a healthcare professional.

Precautions

• Tell your doctor about liver problems or allergy to PPIs
• Long
• term use may affect magnesium levels and increase fracture risk
