Indication

- Relief of bronchospasm in asthma - Relief of bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

Ingredients

• Salbutamol (albuterol) 100 mcg per actuation

Direction

For symptom relief, inhale 1-2 puffs (100-200 mcg) as needed. Do not exceed the dose advised by your doctor.

Side effects

• Tremor (shaking)
• especially of the hands
• Fast heartbeat or palpitations
• Headache
• Muscle cramps
• Nervousness

Precautions

• Tell your doctor about heart disease
• high blood pressure or overactive thyroid
• Increasing need for the inhaler may mean worsening asthma — seek review
• Use with caution in diabetes (may raise blood sugar)
• May lower blood potassium at high doses
