Indication

Fever relief and pain relief for infants and children

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 120mg

Direction

Oral use only. Shake well before use. Use the provided measuring device. Infants and children: dose is based on body weight — typically 15 mg/kg per dose every 4–6 hours as needed. Common weight-based guide: 3–5 kg (0–3 months): 2.5 ml; 6–8 kg (3–12 months): 5 ml; 9–12 kg (1–3 years): 7.5 ml; 13–20 kg (3–7 years): 10 ml. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not use with other paracetamol-containing products.

Side effects

• Rarely: skin rashes and allergic reactions.
• Very rarely: serious skin reactions (Stevens
• Johnson syndrome
• toxic epidermal necrolysis).
• Hepatotoxicity in overdose.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose may cause serious liver damage.
• Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment
• renal impairment
• or glucose
• 6
• phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
• Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Seek medical advice if fever persists for more than 3 days or pain for more than 5 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
