Indication

- Relief of bronchospasm in asthma - Relief of bronchospasm in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm

Ingredients

• Salbutamol (albuterol) 100 mcg/actuation

Direction

Inhale 1-2 puffs as needed for relief, or as directed by a physician. Shake the inhaler before use; do not exceed the prescribed dose.

Side effects

• Tremor (especially of the hands)
• Palpitations or increased heart rate
• Headache
• Muscle cramps
• Throat or mouth irritation

Precautions

• Use with caution in heart disease
• hyperthyroidism
• or diabetes
• Increasing need for the inhaler may indicate worsening asthma — seek medical advice
• Excessive use may cause low potassium levels
• Inform your doctor of other medicines being taken
