Indication

- Prevention and treatment of vitamin B deficiency - Support during pre- and post-operative periods, fever or increased metabolic demand - Deficiency from poor intake or malabsorption (e.g. gastrointestinal disorders, alcoholism) - Adjunct in prolonged or wasting illness

Ingredients

• Vitamin B complex (B vitamins)
• 2 mL/ampoule

Direction

Administered by a healthcare professional via intramuscular or slow intravenous injection; dose adjusted to the patient's condition. A test dose may be advised in patients suspected of hypersensitivity.

Side effects

• Pain or irritation at the injection site
• Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions
• Flushing or warmth
• Nausea

Precautions

• Risk of hypersensitivity/anaphylactic reactions with parenteral administration
• especially thiamine
• Use with caution in patients with known allergy to B vitamins
• Administer slowly when given intravenously
