Indication

- Nausea and vomiting of various causes - Dyspepsia with delayed gastric emptying - Esophageal reflux and esophagitis - Feeling of fullness, epigastric bloating

Ingredients

• Domperidone 5 mg/5 mL

Direction

Adults: 10-20 mg (2-4 mL) three to four times daily before meals. Children: 0.25-0.5 mg/kg three to four times daily before meals. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• Headache
• Abdominal cramps
• Rarely
• cardiac rhythm disturbances (QT prolongation)
• Hyperprolactinemia (breast tenderness
• galactorrhea)

Precautions

• Avoid in patients with cardiac arrhythmia or significant electrolyte disturbances (risk of QT prolongation)
• Use with caution in moderate to severe hepatic impairment
• Caution with drugs that prolong the QT interval or are CYP3A4 inhibitors
• Not recommended for routine prevention of postoperative nausea long
