Indication
Treatment of acid-related disorders, IV use only
Ingredients
- Omeprazole 40mg
Direction
For IV use only. Lyophilized powder reconstituted before administration.
Side effects
- Common: headache
- nausea
- diarrhoea
- abdominal pain
- flatulence.
- Uncommon: dizziness
- dry mouth
- constipation.
- Injection
- site reactions (pain
- phlebitis at IV site).
- Rare: hypersensitivity reactions (rash
- urticaria
- anaphylaxis).
- Very rare: hypomagnesaemia with long
- term use.
- Rare: C. difficile
- associated diarrhoea.
