• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: allergic reactions
• flushing (associated with niacin).
• Mild injection

• dose prolonged B6: peripheral neuropathy.

Precautions

• For use under medical supervision only.
• Not recommended in patients with hypersensitivity to any B vitamin.
• Large doses of Vitamin B6 over prolonged periods may cause peripheral sensory neuropathy.
• Some formulations contain benzyl alcohol — avoid in neonates.
• Keep out of reach of children.
