Indication

- Short-term treatment of moderate pain - Reduction of fever when oral route is not suitable

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 300 mg/2 mL

Direction

Administered by intramuscular or intravenous injection by a healthcare professional, with the dose based on body weight; do not exceed the maximum daily dose.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated at recommended doses
• Injection site pain or reaction
• Hypotension
• Allergic skin reactions (rare)
• Liver damage with overdose

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose
• overdose can cause severe liver damage
• Use with caution in hepatic or renal impairment and in low body weight
• Avoid concurrent use of other paracetamol
