Indication
Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and mucous membranes, herpes zoster, and varicella.
Ingredients
- Aciclovir 400 mg
Direction
Follow the prescribed dose. On prescription only. See the leaflet carefully.
Side effects
- Nausea
- vomiting
- diarrhoea
- abdominal pain.
- Headache
- dizziness.
- Fatigue.
- Rash or urticaria (allergic reaction).
- Renal impairment with high doses or in dehydrated patients.
- Neurotoxicity (confusion
- tremors) in renal failure.
- Phlebitis at injection site (IV formulation).
Precautions
- On prescription only.
- Store at room temperature below 30°C.
- Protect from light and humidity.
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
