Indication

Vaginal tablets for local treatment of vaginitis caused by susceptible organisms (mixed bacterial, fungal, and trichomonal infections).

Ingredients

Direction

Insert one vaginal tablet intravaginally as directed by a physician. Moisten the tablet briefly before insertion.

Side effects

Local vaginal irritation
burning
or discharge.
Vaginal itching or redness.
Nausea
headache (systemic ternidazole).
Allergic reactions (rash
urticaria) — rare.
Candidal overgrowth (if neomycin disrupts normal flora).
Systemic neomycin absorption may cause nephrotoxicity or ototoxicity with extensive use (rare).
Avoid use during first trimester of pregnancy.
