Canasone C.B.15g 1% / 0.1%

Indication

Topical broad spectrum antifungal plus anti-inflammatory cream for the treatment of dermal fungal infections such as tinea pedis, tinea cruris and tinea corporis caused by Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum or Microsporum canis, as well as candidiasis due to Candida albicans, especially when associated with inflammation and itching.

Ingredients

• Clotrimazole 1% w/w
• Betamethasone dipropionate equivalent to Betamethasone 0.1% w/w

Direction

Apply a small amount of cream sparingly and rub gently into the cleansed affected area and surrounding skin two times daily until improvement occurs. Continue treatment as directed by a physician.

Side effects

• Local burning
• itching
• dryness or irritation at the application site.
• Skin atrophy
• striae
• telangiectasia or pigment changes with prolonged use.
• Allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive patients.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not store above 30°C
• keep out of reach of children.
• Contains a potent topical corticosteroid
• avoid prolonged use on large areas
• the face or skin folds without medical advice.
• Use with caution during pregnancy
• lactation and in young children.
• Stop use and consult a doctor if irritation or allergy occurs.
