Indication
Treatment of bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, meningitis, and septicemia
Ingredients
- Sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium USP eq. to Ceftriaxone 1 g
Direction
As directed by physician. For I.V.: dissolve contents in 10 ml of Sterile Water for Injections. For I.M.: dissolve contents in 3.5 ml of suitable solvent. Use immediately after reconstitution.
Side effects
- Allergic reactions including skin rash
- urticaria
- and anaphylaxis.
- Diarrhea
- nausea
- and vomiting.
- Pain or inflammation at the injection site.
- Headache and dizziness.
- Elevated liver enzyme levels (transaminases).
- Thrombocytosis or eosinophilia.
- Rarely
- pseudomembranous colitis.
Precautions
- Please read enclosed leaflet carefully before use
- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at temperature below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture
