Indication
IV fluid replacement. Fluid and electrolyte replenisher.
Ingredients
- Sodium Lactate 310 mg / 100 mL
- Sodium Chloride 600 mg / 100 mL
- Potassium Chloride 30 mg / 100 mL
- Calcium Chloride 20 mg / 100 mL
Direction
Administer by IV infusion or as physician's order. Store below 30°C.
Side effects
- Fluid overload or oedema with excessive infusion.
- Hyperkalaemia in patients with renal impairment.
- Hypercalcaemia with large
- volume infusion.
- Metabolic alkalosis with prolonged use.
- Local phlebitis or irritation at the injection site.
Precautions
- Store below 30°C
- Single dose container
