Indication
- Poor appetite and appetite stimulation - Underweight or failure to thrive - Nutritional support for growth
Ingredients
- Cyproheptadine + L
- Lysine + B
- complex vitamins (syrup)
Direction
Take by mouth: children 2-6 years 2.5-5 mL daily, children 7-14 years 5-10 mL daily, adults/adolescents 5-15 mL daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Side effects
- Drowsiness or sedation
- Dry mouth
- Increased appetite and weight gain
- Dizziness
Precautions
- Contains cyproheptadine
- which may cause drowsiness
- Avoid in glaucoma
- urinary retention or peptic ulcer
- Not recommended in newborns or during breastfeeding
- Use under medical supervision
