Axcel Paracetamol-250 250mg/5ml

Indication

Used to relieve mild to moderate pain (including headache, toothache, muscular pain, and pain associated with cold and flu) and to reduce fever in children.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol

Direction

Children 1–5 years: 5–10 mL (250–500 mg) every 4–6 hours as needed. Children 6–12 years: 10–20 mL (500 mg–1 g) every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Do not give with other paracetamol-containing products. Shake well before use.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses: skin rash
• urticaria.
• Rare: blood disorders (thrombocytopenia
• neutropenia).
• Overdose may cause serious liver damage — seek immediate medical help if overdose suspected.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products — risk of overdose.
• Caution in patients with liver disease
• kidney disease
• or glucose
• 6
• phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) deficiency.
• Do not use if allergic to paracetamol.
• Consult a doctor if fever persists more than 3 days or pain more than 5 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
