Indication

Used to treat and prevent nappy (diaper) rash, dry and cracked skin, minor skin irritations, superficial skin wounds, and to promote skin healing in infants. Dexpanthenol (provitamin B5) is converted in the skin to pantothenic acid, which supports skin barrier function and tissue regeneration.

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected skin area and gently massage in. For nappy rash: apply at each nappy change to clean, dry skin. For wound care: apply to the affected area 1–2 times daily. No need to remove before each application.

Side effects

• Rare: skin irritation or contact allergy at application site.
• Generally very well tolerated.

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not apply to heavily infected wounds without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discontinue use if skin reaction or worsening occurs.
