Indication
Used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu symptoms including fever, nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, and productive cough.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
- Levocetirizine Hydrochloride
- Ambroxol Hydrochloride
Direction
Take as directed by a physician or as indicated on the product label. Typically 1 tablet every 8–12 hours for adults. Take with food to reduce gastric upset.
Side effects
- Paracetamol: rare at recommended doses
- overdose causes hepatotoxicity.
- Phenylephrine: palpitations
- hypertension
- headache
- insomnia.
- Levocetirizine: drowsiness
- dry mouth
- fatigue.
- Ambroxol: nausea
- gastrointestinal discomfort.
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Phenylephrine: contraindicated with MAO inhibitors
- use caution in hypertension
- cardiac disease
- hyperthyroidism.
- Levocetirizine: may cause drowsiness
- avoid driving or operating machinery.
- Avoid in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment.
- Not recommended in children without medical advice.
- Keep out of reach of children.
