Diaryl Suspension 100ml

Indication

Used for the treatment of acute diarrhea caused by susceptible bacteria. The suspension formulation is particularly suitable for children.

Ingredients

• Nifuroxazide

Direction

Adults: 10 mL (200 mg) 4 times daily. Children 6 months–6 years: 5 mL (100 mg) 3 times daily. Children 6 years and over: 5–10 mL (100–200 mg) 3–4 times daily. Shake well before use. Do not exceed 7 days of treatment.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: nausea
• allergic skin reactions.

Precautions

• Not for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to nifuroxazide.
• Seek medical attention if fever
• bloody stools
• or signs of dehydration develop.
• Not recommended for neonates.
• Keep out of reach of children.
