Colimed Suspension 30 ml

Indication

Used to relieve infantile colic and gastrointestinal spasms with flatulence. The antispasmodic (dicyclomine) relaxes intestinal smooth muscle while dimethicone reduces gas.

Direction

Infants and children: administer as directed by a physician or per product label. Typically given orally before or after feeding.

Side effects

• Dry mouth.
• Constipation.
• Urinary retention.
• In infants: breathing difficulties
• seizures
• and coma have been reported — use only under medical supervision.

Precautions

• Dicyclomine is contraindicated in infants under 6 months due to risk of serious adverse effects.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Use with caution in patients with glaucoma
