Flemex Raspberry Syrup 250 mg / 5 ml

Indication

A mucolytic agent used to reduce the viscosity of abnormally thick or excessive mucus secretions, facilitating expectoration in respiratory conditions such as acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, and other respiratory tract infections with mucus hypersecretion.

Direction

Adults: 750 mg 3 times daily, reduced to 750 mg twice daily when condition improves. Children (as directed by physician): dose by weight. Take with food.

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea
• gastric discomfort).
• Rash (rare).
• Stevens
• Johnson syndrome (very rare).

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease.
• Use with caution in patients with a history of peptic ulcer.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within a few days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
