Dosmectine 20ml

Indication

Used for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children, and for relief of pain and discomfort associated with oesophageal-gastric disorders, gastritis, and irritable bowel syndrome.

Ingredients

• Diosmectite

Direction

Adults: 3 sachets per day dissolved in water. Children: dosing by age as directed by a physician. Stir well before drinking. Can be taken with food.

Side effects

• Constipation (especially with high doses).
• Generally well tolerated.

Precautions

• Separate administration from other medicines by at least 1–2 hours
• as diosmectite may reduce absorption of other drugs.
• Not for long
• term use without medical supervision.
• Seek medical advice if diarrhoea persists more than 48 hours or is accompanied by fever or blood.
• Keep out of reach of children.
