Indication

Magne-B6 (Magnesium lactate dihydrate 470 mg + Pyridoxine hydrochloride 5 mg) is indicated for the treatment of magnesium deficiency, which may manifest as neuromuscular irritability, muscle cramps, fatigue, irritability, mild sleep disturbances, and palpitations.

Ingredients

• Magnesium lactate dihydrate
• Pyridoxine hydrochloride

Direction

Adults: 6–8 tablets per day divided into 2–3 doses with meals, or as directed by a physician. Children over 6 years: 4–6 tablets per day divided into 2–3 doses. Treatment should be continued until magnesium levels normalize (typically 1 month).

Side effects

• Gastrointestinal discomfort: nausea
• diarrhea
• vomiting (especially at high doses).
• Abdominal pain.
• Rare: allergic skin reactions.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
• Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment.
• Contains magnesium
• concomitant use with other magnesium
• containing products should be monitored.
• May reduce the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics
• allow at least 2 hours between doses.
• Keep out of reach of children.
