Indication
Magne-B6 (Magnesium lactate dihydrate 470 mg + Pyridoxine hydrochloride 5 mg) is indicated for the treatment of magnesium deficiency, which may manifest as neuromuscular irritability, muscle cramps, fatigue, irritability, mild sleep disturbances, and palpitations.
Ingredients
- Magnesium lactate dihydrate
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride
Direction
Adults: 6–8 tablets per day divided into 2–3 doses with meals, or as directed by a physician. Children over 6 years: 4–6 tablets per day divided into 2–3 doses. Treatment should be continued until magnesium levels normalize (typically 1 month).
Side effects
- Gastrointestinal discomfort: nausea
- diarrhea
- vomiting (especially at high doses).
- Abdominal pain.
- Rare: allergic skin reactions.
Precautions
- Contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
- Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal impairment.
- Contains magnesium
- concomitant use with other magnesium
- containing products should be monitored.
- May reduce the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics
- allow at least 2 hours between doses.
- Keep out of reach of children.
