Indication

Strepsils Cool lozenges contain Amylmetacresol, 2,4-Dichlorobenzyl alcohol (antiseptic agents), and Levomenthol (cooling agent). They are used for symptomatic relief of minor throat infections and irritation, sore throat, and mouth infections.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults and children over 6 years: Dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2–3 hours as needed. Maximum 8 lozenges per 24 hours. Do not chew or swallow whole.

Side effects

• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rash.
• Mild oral irritation.
• Very rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Not for children under 6 years without medical advice.
• If symptoms persist beyond 3 days or worsen
• consult a physician.
• Caution in patients with known sensitivity to any of the components.
• Contains sugar

• Keep out of reach of children.
