Grazine-L 5mg

Indication

Grazine-L (Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 5 mg) is a second-generation antihistamine used for symptomatic relief of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) including runny nose, sneezing, nasal itching, and eye itching, as well as chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 5 mg (1 tablet) once daily in the evening. Children 6–12 years: 2.5 mg (half tablet) once daily in the evening. Take with or without food.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• somnolence.
• Dry mouth.
• Headache.
• Fatigue.
• Nausea.
• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• dose reduction required.
• Contraindicated in patients with end
• stage renal disease or undergoing dialysis.
• Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
• May cause drowsiness
• caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
