Indication
Used topically for the symptomatic relief of pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal conditions such as sprains, strains, bruises, tendinitis, and sports injuries.
Ingredients
- Ketoprofen
Direction
Adults and children 15 years and over: Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area 2–3 times daily. Gently massage in until absorbed. Do not apply under occlusive dressings. Wash hands after use. Avoid exposure of treated area to sunlight during and for 2 weeks after treatment.
Side effects
- Common: local skin reactions (erythema
- pruritus
- burning sensation
- rash at site).
- Uncommon: photosensitivity reactions.
- Rare: systemic NSAID
- related effects with extensive application over large areas.
Precautions
- For external use only.
- Do not apply to open wounds
- inflamed
- infected
- or eczematous skin.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight or UV lamps on treated skin (risk of photosensitivity reactions).
- Not for use in patients with NSAID or aspirin hypersensitivity.
- Not recommended in children under 15 years.
- Avoid during third trimester of pregnancy.
- Keep out of reach of children.
