Rhinoril 125mg

Indication

Rhinoril (Paracetamol 125 mg + Chlorphenamine maleate per tablet/suppository) is a combination product used for symptomatic relief of cold and flu symptoms in children, including fever, runny nose, sneezing, and discomfort.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol
• Chlorphenamine maleate

Direction

Dosing based on age and weight as directed by a physician or product label. Generally for children: dose by weight every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• sedation.
• Dry mouth.
• Rare: gastrointestinal upset.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Do not use concurrently with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Chlorphenamine causes drowsiness
• avoid in situations requiring alertness.
• Use with caution in children with respiratory conditions.
• Avoid in children under 2 years without medical supervision.
• Consult physician if fever lasts more than 3 days or worsens.
• Keep out of reach of children.
