Lergicet 10mg

Indication

Lergicet (Cetirizine dihydrochloride 10 mg) is a second-generation antihistamine used for the symptomatic treatment of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial), allergic conjunctivitis, and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

Ingredients

• Cetirizine 2HCl

Direction

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: 10 mg (1 tablet) once daily. Children 6–12 years: 5 mg twice daily or 10 mg once daily. Take with or without food, with a glass of water.

Side effects

• Nausea.
• Rare: hypersensitivity reactions
• angioedema.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with renal impairment
• dose reduction required.
• Caution in patients with epilepsy.
• May cause drowsiness
• caution when driving or operating machinery.
• Avoid alcohol during treatment.
• Not recommended for children under 2 years.
• Keep out of reach of children.
