Pediacetamol 100mg/ml

Indication

Paracetamol 100 mg/mL oral drops used for relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in infants and young children.

Direction

Dose is based on body weight (10–15 mg/kg per dose). Administer orally every 4–6 hours as needed. Do not exceed 5 doses in 24 hours. Use the provided dropper for accurate measurement.

Side effects

• Rare at therapeutic doses.
• Hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash
• urticaria) — rare.
• Hepatotoxicity in overdose.

Precautions

• Do not exceed recommended dose.
• Do not use with other paracetamol
• containing products.
• Use with caution in patients with hepatic impairment.
• Seek medical advice if fever or pain persists beyond 3 days.
• Keep out of reach of children.
