Newhem 10ml

Indication

Newhem is a hematostimulant oral solution containing ferrous gluconate, manganese gluconate, and copper gluconate. It is used for the treatment and prevention of iron-deficiency anemia and conditions associated with micronutrient deficiencies.

Ingredients

• Ferrous Gluconate
• Manganese Gluconate
• Copper Gluconate

Direction

Adults: 1–2 ampoules (10 mL each) daily. Children: as directed by a physician, typically diluted in water or juice. Take preferably before meals.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting.
• Abdominal cramps.
• Constipation or diarrhea.
• Dark stools.
• Tooth discoloration if not diluted (liquid form).

Precautions

• Do not use in patients with iron overload (hemochromatosis).
• May cause dark
• colored stools (harmless).
• Avoid concurrent use with antacids
• tetracyclines
• or fluoroquinolones (reduced iron absorption).
• Use with caution in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
• Keep out of reach of children.
