Hi-Dine 10% 20ml

Indication

Hi-Dine (Povidone Iodine 10%) is a broad-spectrum topical antiseptic used for disinfection of minor wounds, cuts, abrasions, and for preoperative skin preparation. It is effective against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and spores.

Ingredients

• Povidone Iodine

Direction

Apply directly to the affected area using a swab or cotton wool. Allow to dry. For wounds: clean area first, then apply and allow to dry. Can be diluted 1:10 for use as a wound irrigation solution or gargle. Do not bandage tightly after application.

• Iodine absorption with prolonged use on large areas (thyroid effects)
• Allergic reactions in iodine

Precautions

• For external use only.
• Avoid contact with eyes
• rinse thoroughly if contact occurs.
• Do not use in patients with known iodine or povidone
• iodine allergy.
• Avoid prolonged use on large wounds or body cavities.
• Use with caution in patients with thyroid disorders (iodine absorption).
• Do not use during pregnancy
• particularly in the second and third trimesters
• without medical advice.
• Avoid contact with chlorhexidine solutions (incompatible).
• Keep out of reach of children.
