Indication

Acetylleucine oral solution is used for the symptomatic treatment of vertigo, including acute vestibular vertigo and dizziness of central or peripheral origin.

Direction

Adults: The usual dose is 500 mg (5 mL of 500 mg/5 mL solution) taken 3–5 times daily, as directed by a physician. Treatment duration is typically short-term during acute episodes.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Rare: gastrointestinal discomfort
• nausea.
• Rare: allergic reactions.

Precautions

• Use with caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to acetylleucine.
• Safety in pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established
• consult a physician.
• Not indicated for the treatment of the underlying cause of vertigo.
• Keep out of reach of children.
