Indication
TusQ-Dx is a multi-symptom cold and cough preparation combining a mucolytic (bromhexine), nasal decongestant (phenylephrine), expectorant (guaifenesin), antihistamine (chlorpheniramine), and analgesic/antipyretic (paracetamol) for the symptomatic treatment of productive cough, nasal congestion, rhinorrhoea, and fever associated with upper respiratory tract infections.
Ingredients
- Bromhexine Hydrochloride
- Phenylephrine Hydrochloride
- Guaifenesin
- Chlorpheniramine Maleate
- Paracetamol
Direction
Adults: 1 tablet or 5–10 mL syrup every 6–8 hours as needed. Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours. Take with food or water.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dry mouth
- dizziness.
- Nausea
- gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Palpitations
- increased blood pressure (phenylephrine).
- Rare: allergic reactions.
Precautions
- Do not combine with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Avoid in patients with hypertension
- cardiovascular disease
- hyperthyroidism
- or narrow
- angle glaucoma (phenylephrine).
- May cause drowsiness (chlorpheniramine)
- avoid driving.
- Avoid alcohol.
- Not recommended for children without medical guidance.
- Keep out of reach of children.
