Indication

NOX-PAIN is a topical analgesic preparation containing counterirritants (methyl salicylate, eugenol, menthol) used for the temporary relief of minor muscle and joint pain, backache, strains, and sprains.

Ingredients

• Methyl Salicylate
• Eugenol
• Menthol

Direction

Apply to the affected area up to 3–4 times daily. Massage gently into the skin. Wash hands after application. Do not apply to broken skin or near eyes.

Side effects

• Skin irritation
• burning
• or redness at application site.
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis.
• Systemic salicylate toxicity with excessive use over large areas (rare).

Precautions

• For external use only. Do not apply to broken
• damaged
• or irritated skin.
• Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not use with a heating pad or tight bandage (may increase skin irritation).
• Use with caution in patients with aspirin/salicylate sensitivity.
• Not for use in children under 12 without medical advice.
• Keep out of reach of children.
