Indication

SF Cream (Ketoconazole + Clobetasol Propionate) is a combination topical preparation used for the treatment of fungal skin infections accompanied by significant inflammation, such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and seborrhoeic dermatitis with inflammatory component.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole
• Clobetasol Propionate

Direction

Apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice daily and rub in gently. Duration of use should not normally exceed 2 weeks; reassess if longer treatment is needed.

Side effects

• Common: local burning
• stinging
• pruritus.
• Uncommon: skin atrophy
• striae
• discolouration with prolonged use.
• Rare: HPA
• axis suppression with extensive or prolonged application.

Precautions

• For external use only
• avoid contact with eyes.
• Clobetasol is a potent corticosteroid
• avoid prolonged use
• use on large areas
• or under occlusive dressings.
• Do not use on the face
• axillae
• or groin without specific medical advice.
• Not for use in children without medical supervision.
• Prolonged use may cause skin atrophy
• striae
• and adrenal suppression.
• Keep out of reach of children.
