Oxy Gia 3%

Indication

Oxy Gia (Hydrogen Peroxide 3%) is a topical antiseptic solution used for cleansing and disinfecting minor cuts, wounds, and abrasions. It helps to remove debris and reduce bacterial contamination in superficial wounds.

Ingredients

• Hydrogen Peroxide 3%

Direction

Apply to the affected wound area using a clean cotton swab or cloth. Allow to fizz (effervescent action) and then rinse with clean water if required. Use 2–3 times daily or as needed. Do not apply to deep wounds, punctures, or surgical incisions.

Side effects

• Common: mild stinging or burning sensation at application site.
• Uncommon: local irritation
• skin whitening (transient).
• Rare: allergic contact dermatitis.

Precautions

• For external use only
• do not swallow.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use in deep wounds
• punctures
• or internal body cavities.
• Do not apply under occlusive dressings as oxygen released may cause air embolism risk in deep wounds.
• May bleach hair and fabrics.
• Keep out of reach of children.
