Upro 400 400mg

Indication

Relief of mild to moderate pain (headache, dental pain, menstrual pain, back pain, musculoskeletal pain) and reduction of fever. Also used in the symptomatic treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: 400 mg every 6–8 hours as needed. Take with food or milk to reduce gastrointestinal irritation. Maximum dose: 1200 mg in 24 hours (OTC use). Do not exceed 2400–3200 mg/day under medical supervision.

Precautions

• Contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Contraindicated in severe renal
• hepatic
• or cardiac failure.
• Avoid in the third trimester of pregnancy.
• Use with caution in patients with a history of asthma
• as NSAIDs may trigger bronchospasm.
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or aspirin.
• May increase risk of cardiovascular events with long
• term use.
• Use with caution in elderly patients.
• Keep out of reach of children.
