Indication
Relief of mild to moderate pain and reduction of fever in children.
Ingredients
- Paracetamol
Direction
Children: 10–15 mg/kg every 4–6 hours as needed. At 250 mg/5 mL concentration: weight-based dosing (e.g. 5 mL for 15–20 kg child). Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours. Use the measuring device provided.
Side effects
- Rare at recommended doses: skin rash or allergic reaction
- Overdose may cause serious liver damage
Precautions
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Avoid concurrent use with other paracetamol
- containing products.
- Use with caution in patients with liver impairment.
- Consult a doctor if fever persists beyond 3 days or symptoms worsen.
- Keep out of reach of children.
