Gaviscon Menthe Sans Sucre 10ml sachet

Indication

Traitement symptomatique du reflux gastro-oesophagien (symptomatic treatment of gastro-oesophageal reflux).

Ingredients

• Sodium alginate
• Sodium bicarbonate

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 to 2 sachets (10–20 mL) after each meal and at bedtime. Up to 4 times daily. Children 6–12 years: half to one sachet after meals. Swallow directly or dissolve in a small amount of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Side effects

• Generally well tolerated.
• Mild bloating or flatulence (uncommon).
• Allergic reactions (rare).

Precautions

• Each sachet contains sodium — use with caution in patients on a sodium
• restricted diet or with renal impairment.
• Consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 7 days.
• Not recommended for children under 6 years without medical advice.
• Avoid taking other oral medications within 2 hours of Gaviscon
• as it may affect absorption.
• Use with caution in patients with renal failure (sodium content).
