Precautions

Contraindicated in patients taking nitrates or nitric oxide donors (e.g. glyceryl trinitrate) — risk of severe hypotension.
Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment
recent stroke or myocardial infarction
or hereditary degenerative retinal disorders.
Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular disease
hypotension
or bleeding disorders.
Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.
Not intended for use in women or children.
May potentiate hypotensive effects of alpha
blockers
allow at least 4 hours between doses.
Seek immediate medical attention if erection lasts longer than 4 hours (priapism).
Sudden vision or hearing loss has been reported — discontinue and seek medical advice immediately.
